Terms and Conditions of Sale

All purchases from our website are in accordance with our current Terms and Conditions of Sale. You will be asked to agree to them expressly before you place an order for products from our website.

Trade Discount and Terms

For trade orders, and for quantity orders for resale (e.g. multiple copies of a single title ordered by retreat leaders), a trade discount of 35% is usually offered on all orders (there is no minimum order). Our payment terms are 30 Days from date of invoice.

 

Ordering

Trade customers should place orders for products and for subscriptions to the Fairacres Chronicle by emailing us directly with a list of their requirements

Existing Trade Customers

Existing Trade Customers should make orders by emailing us directly with a list of titles either as an attachment or within the email. Please include FP numbers in your order if you can.

 

Prospective Trade Customers

Prospective trade customers wishing to set up a Trade Credit Account with us should email us directly with information about their company name and website. We may have to ask for some further verification to protect against fraud.

You may send a trade order before your account is set up, but goods will not be sent out until you have been approved.

Stock levels

Stock levels for website sales are based on our estimates, and actual stocks may change at any time as sales are made. When 10 or fewer copies of a book are in stock, this will be indicated next to the details of the book concerned. You are advised to check the details of the book for availability, particularly when ordering in quantity.

If we are not able to accept your order, or any part of it, due to insufficient stocks, we shall communicate this as we process your order.

Carriage and Delivery

For trade orders, carriage charges will be applied once we have processed your order. We endeavour to choose the most economical and efficient service relevant to your requirements.

Payment

We invoice and accept payment in sterling. We also accept cheque and cash payments in Euros and in US dollars.

To pay via

  • Debit/credit card: we shall send you by email an invoice and information as to how you can make your payment via PayPal. Our despatch to you of the invoice by email is the point at which a contract is entered into with you. The products will be despatched to you when your payment has been processed.
  • Trade Account: we shall despatch the goods to you with our invoice, and at the same time email you to let you know that the products are being despatched. Our notification to you by email that the products are being despatched is the point at which a contract is entered into with you.

 

Distributors

Our books are distributed solely by Norwich Books/Hymns Ancient and Modern. If you wish to order through a distributor please contact HAM.

Processing your order

When you place your order your request will be processed when staff are on site (usually Tuesdays and Fridays). Please let us know if your order is urgent.

It is our aim to respond to all orders and enquiries within 3 working days of receipt, but please allow up to 7 working days.

Prior to acceptance of your order, we may need to communicate with you about your Trade Account, or about issues related to stock availability, to your eligibility for a trade discount or to carriage charges.

Should we for any reason be able to supply none of the products ordered, we shall notify you.
