The traditional devotion of the Stations of the Cross brings to our attention the saving Passion of Jesus Christ, who reveals to us the Face of Love, calling upon his disciples to take up their cross and follow him. In these meditations, based upon the fourteen Stations, Fr Gilbert Shaw leads readers from the use of reason and imagination in prayer into the greater simplicity of affective acts and loving conversation with Jesus.
