Silence is needed to develop the inner life of prayer and the active life of ministry. Relationship with God, from which ministry arises, is cultivated through silence.

In these two talks, Sister Edmee stresses the need for silence in order to develop both the inner life of prayer and the active life of ministry. The unique relationship each person has with God is cultivated through silent prayer. Ministry also arises from this place of silence, which allows full attention to others without false involvement.
